Scilab is an application designed to complete numerical computation, that contains a large amount of maths functions and the possibility to add more. This program has nothing to envy of the MATLAB numerical computation software, and what is more, it is free and light. If you work with scientific calculation, Scilab offers you many possibilities.

  Scilab also allows to install modules to complete differential equations, linear algebra, polynomial and rational functions, differentiable and non-differentiable optimizations, various data analysis and other operations. What's more, we will be able to edit the graphics, program our own functions in languages like FORTRAN, Java and C++, export the graphics in various formats (GIF, BMP, JPEG, PDF)  and it includes a tool to convert MATLAB files to Scilab files.
